Jacquelin Hatch

     Jacquelin Hatch, otherwise known to family and friends as Gail, 82, of Morganville passed away on Thursday, September 7th, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. 

     She was born in Newark to the late Margaret Ann (Walker) Elsie and resided in Morganville and Forked River. Jacquelin and her husband, Skip, were the long-time owners of Skip's Garage. Jacquelin enjoyed cooking, arts and crafts, going down the shore to spend time with their very dear friends, traveling, and collecting her treasures. Aside from that, Jacquelin was involved in various committees for bettering children and education. She also always vocalized her opinions in debates. Jacquelin was also an author. She very much enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and made sure the holidays were something to always remember. Anyone who was lucky enough to know her looks up to how strong of a woman she was and she will live on in their minds and hearts forever. 

     Jacquelin was predeceased by her beloved husband, “Skip” Norman C. Hatch. She is survived by her loving children Craig Hatch and his wife Linda, Cindy Lovas and  Robert DiMarco, Kathy Amore and her husband Frankie; her adored grandchildren Megan Stumpf and her husband Brandon, Craig Hatch Jr., Alexis Amore, and Paige Amore; her brother Robert Elsie; her nephew Kurt Hatch and his wife Kristine; and cherished great-grandchildren Crew and Reese Stumpf. 

     At the request of the family Jacquelin will be privately cremated.

     Friends and relatives are invited to a memorial visitation on Tuesday September 12, 2023 from 2-5PM at Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735.
