Herbert W. Schwarz

   Herbert W. Schwarz, 99 of Middletown, passed away March 27, 2023 at home. 

   He was born in Hoboken, New Jersey on October 20, 1923 to the late  William and
Emma (Paasch) Schwarz and lived in the Monmouth County area since 1947. 

   Herbert was also predeceased by his beloved wife Helen in 2007. 

   He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII and was
employed at the Electronics Command at Fort Monmouth for 32 years, retiring in 1980. 

   He is survived by his children Kathleen Sullivan and her husband Paul of Colts Neck, Robert Schwarz and his wife Colleen of Manasquan; and a loving grandson Michael Sullivan of California, Maryland.

   He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, family and all that is good.

   Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation for Herbert on Saturday April 1, 2023 from 9AM to 11AM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at  11:30 AM at St. Joseph's Church (Our Lady of Fatima Parish) of Keyport.

Mausoleum Entombment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery of Middletown, New Jersey.
