George Frederick Trampler of Union Beach (formerly Manalapan) NJ
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of George Trampler, our
loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend to all those whose lives he touched.
He passed away from natural causes at his home on July 30, 2020 after 68 years.
George is survived by his son, Ross Trampler, his grandchildren, sister and brother-in-law, Janice and
Victor Lembo, former wife, JoAnn Trampler and many family cousins.
George was born on January 3, 1952 in Newark, NJ. George served with the Marlboro Township Police Department for 28 years and retired as a Lieutenant. He loved being in law enforcement, his fellow Officers and serving people. George graduated from Monmouth University and Rutgers University.
First and foremost, George was a dedicated and loving father. In his spare time he
loved working on cars, helping friends and neighbors, sharing jokes and conversation with the people around him.
George was preceded in death by his parents, George Trampler and Lorraine Goerke, his
grandparents, Michael and Emily Goerke, and his aunts and uncles, Gladys and Gilbert
Hoagland and Emily and Ernie Soulimiotis.
George will be remembered lovingly by his family and his close neighborhood community.
He will be truly missed.
