Obituary
George R. Tormay, Sr, 73, of Aberdeen, NJ passed away Sunday, March 5th, at JFK Medical Center, Edison.
He was the husband of Doreen (Hagman) Tormay.
George was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on April 25, 1949, a son of the late Marie and George Tormay.
He was a Water Treatment Specialist at American Water in Shrewsbury, NJ for many years. George loved painting, playing billiards, and all the dogs in the neighborhood.
George is predeceased by his sons Keith in 2001 and George Jr. in 2018. He leaves behind his loving wife Doreen and many extended family members.
Visitation will be held 2 PM to 4 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM on Thursday, March 9th at Day Funeral Home in Keyport, New Jersey. Visitation will be held again 10 AM to 11 AM on Friday, March 10th at Day Funeral Home followed by a 11am service at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Keyport, NJ.
