George Fletcher

George Fletcher, 73 of Hazlet, passed away Thursday September 24, 2020 at home.

He was born in Trenton, New Jersey and was with the United States Army for a very brief period of time.

He was predeceased by his parents George A. Fletcher and Addie (Davis) Fletcher.

George is survived by sisters Mabel and Evelyn Fletcher of Hazlet; Patricia Beverly of Cliffwood; Helen Sabo and her husband Mark of Pennsylvania; Josephine Collins of New York  and a brother Thomas Fletcher and his wife Deborah of Virginia.

He also leaves behind a daughter;  nieces and nephews Susan Lange, Dawn and William  Bright, Nadine Brake and Angie Fletcher.  

At the request of George's family, he will be privately cremated and a memorial service will be held on Friday, October 2 from 1PM to 5PM at Day Funeral Home of Keyport 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735.  A service will be offered during the memorial visitation.
