Obituary
Frederick Larsen 65, of Hazlet, NJ passed away March 10th, 2023, at Bayshore Medical Center,
Holmdel, NJ.
Frederick was born in South Amboy on May 29, 1957. He is predeceased by his parents Edwin
and Charlotte Larsen. He leaves behind his beloved wife Krystyna and son Frederick Larsen of
whom he is very proud and his wife Tracy, cherished grandchildren Mackenzie, Madison,
Joseph, and Richard. Also, he is survived and will be missed by his uncles Frederick Larsen and
wife Lynn, and Albert Larsen; and by his siblings: Charlotte and husband Rick Fray; Edwin Larsen
and wife Tracey; Donald Larsen and his daughter Jeanine and husband Jared; Irene and Charlie
Schaub and their daughter Heather Cahill and her daughter Brielle Colgan; Linda and Mike Cere
and son Brad and wife Kristen; Gloria and her children Frankie and Lauren Leonardo; and Nancy
and Steve Bond and daughter Caitlin Levine.
Frederick worked in facilities management at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ.
Prior to that he worked construction with his father Edwin “Sonny” Larsen and his own brothers
Red and Don.
Frederick had varied interests. He was a member of the New Monmouth Baptist Church,
Middletown, NJ. His favorite pastimes included boating, fishing, and crabbing in Raritan Bay. He
loved his white golden retrievers and spoiled them. He would play miniature golf any chance he
got and bingo with his friends. He also loved to watch old western movies and Red Sox games.
Family and friends are invited to funeral and visitation services at Day Funeral Home, 361
Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 15, 2023, from 5pm to
8pm and Thursday, March 16, 2023, 10am to 11am. Services will be held at 11am, followed by
burial at Shoreland Memorial Gardens, Hazlet, NJ.
