Elizabeth J. (Kalieta) Larkin

Elizabeth J. Larkin, 85, of Keyport  passed away Sunday December 22, 2019 at Morris Hall of St. Joseph's Nursing Home of Lawrenceville, New Jersey.
She was born in Red Bank, to the late William Kalieta and Riva (Graham) Kalieta,  and grew up in Keyport.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Thomas Larkin.
She was a high school graduate and  received her associates in art studies from Brookdale Community College of Holmdel.
Elizabeth was a homemaker who had a wonderful talent for painting flowers and was an avid gardener.
For a short time in her life, Elizabeth worked as a secretary for National Lead and Metropolitan Life Insurance.
She was also a communicant of St. Joseph's Church of Keyport for many years.
She is survived by her beloved children Bill and his wife Rene of Bel Air, Maryland , Mary Farrel and her husband John of Lawrenceville, Thomas Larkin and his wife Rose King of Lambertville and Edward Larkin of  Monmouth County.
Elizabeth also leaves behind 7 cherished grandchildren Cullen and Emily Larkin, Sean and Maura Farrel, and Fiona, Tige and Rory Larkin.
Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation for Elizabeth on Thursday December 26, 2019 from 4PM to 8PM at Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735 and again at the funeral home on Friday December 27, 2019 at 8:45 AM  for a      9:30 AM  Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Joseph's Church of Keyport.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery of Keyport.
