Elizabeth Betty (Campanella) Capone

Elizabeth L (Betty) Capone, 90, of Hazlet, NJ passed away Wednesday, January 25th, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.
She was the widow of Frank L Capone Sr.
Betty was born in Pittston, PA on September 24, 1932, a daughter of the late Frances and Guido Campanella. She lived in Matawan prior to moving to Hazlet many years ago.
Betty worked as a RN at South Amboy Hospital in South Amboy for many years.  She was a beloved member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Union Beach.
She is survived by her loving children Frank Capone Jr. and his wife Barbara, Anthony Capone and his wife Cindy, and Lisa Capone and her husband Richard. She also leaves behind cherished sister Angeline Pace, and 12 devoted grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She is predeceased also by her sister Rosalie Brown.

Visitation will be held 9 AM to 11 AM on Monday, January 30th at Day Funeral Home in Keyport, New Jersey with a service during those hours. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Keyport.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
