Donna L. Rooney

   Donna L. Rooney, 62, of Cliffwood Beach, NJ passed away Monday, September 18th, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.

   Donna was born in New York, New York on June 10, 1961, a daughter of the late Carol and Kenneth Monsen. And, although Donna filled many significant roles throughout her life. She was above all else, a loving daughter, a caring sister, a devoted wife, and an extraordinary mother. Family is what mattered most to Donna. Her genuine, selfless spirit will endure in our memory, and in all our hearts. 

   Donna is predeceased by her brother Brian and her parents. She is survived by her loving husband Marcelo Diaz, cherished children Amanda Occhiogrosso, Chistopher and Charles Rooney III. Donna also leaves behind her devoted brother Kenneth Monsen.

   Visitation will be held 3 PM to 7 PM on Saturday, September 23rd at Day Funeral Home in Keyport, New Jersey. A funeral prayer service will be held between those hours.
