David B Holland

David B. Holland, 87 of Hazlet, formerly of Middletown, Union Beach, Long Beach Island and Kearney passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023, at home.

He was born in Jersey City to the late James J. Holland and Agnes M. (Davidson)Holland 

 He was a Union Carpenter working with Local 1209 out of Newark, before becoming a Hairdresser /salon owner in Matawan. He loved to make people laugh and had a profound sense of humor. Later in life he enjoyed selling beach toys in Long Beach Island.

David is survived by his beloved wife Edith J. (Bremner) Holland; loving children Shelly Holland of Union Beach. David Holland and his wife Gina of Middletown; and his beloved grandchildren Michael, Alek and Nikki Holland. Denise Loren Holland his cherished daughter predeceased him in 2020.

Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation for David on Monday, October 2, 2023, from 3-6 PM and Tuesday, October 3, 2023, 9 AM at the funeral home. A service will be offered 10 AM.

 Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery of Kearney, New Jersey.
