David G. Giordano, 64, of Old Bridge, New Jersey, passed away peacefully in his home on April 12, 2022.
Dave was born in Brooklyn, NY where he resided most of his life, raised by loving parents in Sheepshead Bay. In more recent years, Dave has lived in Old Bridge, NJ.
Dave made his career as a service technician in pharmaceuticals.
David was a dedicated and fun-loving father, who treasured his time with his daughter, Deanna. Known affectionately to his nieces and nephew as not just Uncle “Dave”, but Uncle “Cool” or Uncle “Dirt” (for his famous chocolate dessert) which no holiday would be complete without.
Dave was an avid music lover and a talented performer, who enjoyed recording music and playing in Beetles cover bands and other groups throughout his life. He will be lovingly remembered for his “amazing” performances at the family lip sync parties and for his gift for stirring up some interesting family debates.
Dave’s recent interest in researching our family history has brought a better understanding of our background and the hope to rekindle relationships.
Dave is predeceased by both his parents, Louis and Frances Giordano, dear and beloved sister and brother, Maria and Stephen.
Dave is survived by his loving daughter, Deanna, along with her mother Tina; his sisters Patricia Tartaro and her fiance Kenneth Barto; Gloria Schopf and husband Walter; sister-in-law Andrea. Dave also leaves behind his nieces and nephew, Gloria, Samantha (Kyle), Christina, Walter, Lauren and Erica; and his great niece and nephew, Abigail and Owen.
He will be greatly missed!
Friends and relatives are invited to a memorial visitation for Dave on Saturday April 23, 2022 from 5PM - 9PM at Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735. At that time a prayer service will be offered for Dave at 7:30 PM.
