Carol Matarese Obituary

Carol Matarese, 78, of Hazlet, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020 at home. Born in Brooklyn, NY she moved to Hazlet 41 years ago. She worked as a Cafateria Aid in the Hazlet School District and was a Hazlet Board of Education Member for 28 years. Carol will be dearly missed by all who knew her and loved her. Carol is predeceased by her parents, Michael and Rita McGrath and her beloved husband John. She is survived by her loving children; Kelly Rosman and her husband Andy of Keyport, Michael Matarese and his wife Christine of Keyport, Kevin Matarese and his wife Katy of Matawan; brothers Robert McGrath and wife Camille of Long Island and Donald McGrath and wife Joann of Middletown. Carol also leaves her cherished grandchildren; Mackenzie, Michael, Grace, Emmaline and Victoria. Services for Carol are private. To leave the family a condolenc eplease visit her tribute page.
