Obituary
Barbara J. Jones, 86, of Matawan, NJ passed away Monday, May 8th, at Spring Hill Nursing Home.
Barbara was born in Elizabeth, NJ on August 26, 1936, a daughter of the late Mildred (Brusco) and Dennis Donahue. She grew up in Cliffwood Beach and lived in Aberdeen and Atlantic Highlands prior to moving to Matawan 13 years ago.
She retired as a CNA at Holmdel Convalescent Home Holmdel, NJ where she worked for 25 years.
Barbara leaves behind her cherished sons Gary Jones and his wife Hazel and Dennis Jones, devoted sister Diane Meixnier and brother-in-law William Jones and loving grandchildren Daniel Jones, Jesse Jones, Brooke Jones and Fawn Benson and one great grandson Ryder Jones.
Visitation will be held 9 AM to 11 AM on Thursday, May 11th at Day Funeral Home in Keyport, New Jersey followed by a service at 11:30 AM at the funeral home. and interment will take place at
St. Joseph's Cemetery.
