Alice E. (Watering) Fiorillo

Alice E. Fiorillo, 96 of Cliffwood Beach passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Bayshore Health Care Center, Holmdel.  Born in Norwich, England she resided in Brooklyn, NY before relocating to Cliffwood Beach.  She served in the British Womans Army Corp. during WWII and worked as a Forgery Clerk for Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City. 
Alice is pre deceased by her husband Frank and parents, Arthur and Ethel Watering.  She is survived by her loving children, Grace Jefferson and her husband Julius of Cliffwood Beach, son Carl Fiorillo and his wife Cathy of Staten Island, NY, cherished grand children, Christopher Jefferson, Jennifer Lane, Sarah Fiorillo and adoring great grandchildren Patrick Lane, Christopher and Hannah Jefferson. She was an avid reader and knitted amazing intricate baby blankets, all the babies some now adults still have one of her creations.  She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Wednesday October 3, 2018 9 AM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday, 10 AM at St. Lawrence RC Church, Laurence Harbor.  Interment will follow at the Cemetery of the Resurrection, Staten Island.
