William J. Clifton, Jr.

William Joseph Clifton Jr. passed peacefully with his family by his side at the age of 60 on August 17th, 2018. Bill was born April 15th, 1958, in Long Branch, NJ to his parents William Joseph Clifton Sr. and Rosemarie Clifton. He is survived by his mother Rosemarie Clifton, beloved  wife Linda A. Clifton, his children and their spouses William J. & Nadine Clifton,  Robert J. & Nicole Clifton and Jaclyn R. & Christian DiGigiacomo. Bill is also survived by his loving brothers and sister, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his beloved dog buddy. Big Bill, as he was known to all, was an avid sports fan and stellar athlete, he most enjoyed golfing with his friends and family. He worked as an Iron Worker for most of his career. He adored his wife and family and was a devout catholic, he will be missed by all.
Relatives and friends are invited to a vistation on Monday, August 20, 2018 at St. Clement's RC Church in Matawan, NJ from 2-5PM & 6-9PM. On Tuesday, August 21, 2018 a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10AM at the church. Interment will follow mass at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Keyport, NJ.
