Walt McKinley....Wow, What a guy. Proud to have served with Walt at Maple Pl. Hazlet with the former Raritan First Aid and Rescue squad during the 60s and 70s. He did it all and for a long time. Rest in Peace...old friend.

Barbara and Karen.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of your father. I have known Walter for over 40 years as a member of the New Jersey State First Aid Council. We served on many committees together. One thing that your Dad did so well was to have a nice prayer to open each Executive Board meeting and each Mid Year and State meeting. He will be missed by everyone in the Council and his home Squad. He now joins his wife who he took care of so well. Be proud of him … like we are.

I would like to offer prayers, warm thoughts, condolences and blessings to the entire McKinley family. As a past member of the Hazlet First Aid Squad is where I first met Mac. Walter was a genuine gentlemen and a kind, warm and giving soul as well as an amazing first-aider always willing to give his time to help the squad and the "newbies". Walt will be truly missed and to repeat a previous sentiment - "the world could use many more Walt McKinleys"!.

Dear Family,

I am so very sorry for your loss. I met Walt and your mom in 1967. We met at church when I was 9 years old. When I was old enough, I joined Hazlet's First Aid Squad and was proud to have have Walt as a mentor. Your parents were wonderful people and I was blessed to know them.

Sincere condolences to the family of Walter (Big Mac) McKinley. Walter was a wonderful man that I felt honored to know and serve with on the Hazlet 1st Aide and Rescue Squad. This world needs more Walter McKinleys to set an example of what it means to be a man of caring and dedication. God Bless Walter McKinley
