Victoria (Franchini) Sasso

Victoria (Franchini) Sasso, age 60, of Port Monmouth, New Jersey, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Victoria was born on June 4, 1959 to Anna and Paul Franchini in Newark, New Jersey. She married the love of her life, Thomas and the two raised four wonderful children together. Victoria was known to be very caring to the people in her life, she took great pride in being a CNA. Victoria was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She now rejoins her beloved husband, Thomas Sasso, in eternal rest.

Victoria was predeceased by her parents, and husband. She is survived by her four loving children: Marissa Sasso and her fiancé Michael Lawless, of Port Monmouth, NJ; Jena King and her husband, Justin of Middletown, NJ; Joey Sasso and his fiancé Cristeen Oliva, of Perth Amboy, NJ; and Frank Sasso of Matawan, NJ; her nine cherished grandchildren: Mason, Gabriella, Ayden, Michael, Zachary, Kaitlyn, Madison, Anthony, and Mesiah; siblings Annette, Vincent, and Frank; nieces and nephews Alyssa Franchini, Gary Pawlowski and his fiancé Jackie Perez, Angela, Giovanni, and Tamika. She also leaves behind many other loving family members and friends, including Joseph Ardizzone and his son Anthony as well as lifelong friend Gloria Kyriazis. Victoria was a fighter until the end, she will be dearly missed and always in our hearts. 

Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Gathering on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 4-8PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, New Jersey, 07735. A Prayer Service will be held at 7PM. On Wednesday, August 7, 2019 relatives and friends are asked to meet at Shoreland Memorial Gardens in Hazlet, New Jersey for interment of the cremains at 1PM.
