Sharon A (Hammill) Duffy

Sharon A. Duffy, 66, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia.  She was born in Jersey City, moving to Tenafly then settling in Little Egg Harbor, NJ.   She worked as a Book Keeper for Home Properties in Englewood NJ before retiring.

Sharon is predeceased by her parents, Francis and Elizabeth Hammill, sisters, Patricia, Elizabeth, Marybeth Hammill and her brothers Kenneth and James Hammill.  She is survived by her loving husband Ray Duffy of Little Egg Harbor, caring children, Tom Duffy and his wife Barbara, Raymond Duffy, Patrick Duffy and his wife Jill, Erin Gutheil and her husband Erik. She also leaves behind her loving siblings Gail, Joseph Hammill, Kathleen Geronimo & sister in law Desma Hammill.  Loving “Aunt Sharon” to many nieces, nephews, several grandnieces & nephews, as well as being a loving grandmother to her six adoring grandchildren.

Visitation will take place on Monday, April 16, 2018,  from 6-9PM and Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place ,Keyport NJ 07735; and Wednesday 8:30AM at the funeral home, with a 9:30AM Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family RC Church, Union Beach.  Burial will follow at Shoreland Memorial Gardens, Hazlet.
