Shareen (Pascucci) Cecere

Shareen (Pascucci) Cecere, 65, of Middletown, passed away on Tuesday, February 6th, 2018, at home, peacefully surrounded by her loving family after a long 3 year battle with lung cancer. She was born in Newark on February 27th 1952. Shareen was an avid gardener who took great pride in her flowers and koi pond. She was also a fantastic cook who thoroughly enjoyed making delicious meals for her family.  She truly knew how to enjoy the simple things in life such as afternoons in her garden and evenings by the chimera. Shareen was a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Shareen was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Elsa (Edwards) Pascucci, as well as her sisters, Priscilla Soto and Corrine Trumpore. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Cecere; her loving children, Katrinka Harris of Middletown; Stacy Daro and husband Mike of Maryland; Jessica Robinson of North Carolina; Robert Pascucci and wife Kristina of Keansburg and Lawrence Cecere Jr and wife Nicole of Middletown; her siblings, Nicholas Pascucci, Donna Martinez and Timothy Pascucci; 15 cherished grandchildren, Christopher, Alyssa, Kristin, Olivia, Joshua, Michael, Alyee, Isabella, Kaitlan, Taylor, Sophia, Keira, Julia, Rachel and Gemma; and great grandchild, Declan. Shareen will be missed and fondly remembered.

At the direction of family, Shareen will be privately cremated. The family will hold a memorial in her memory at a later date at their home.
