Ronald T. Egan

Ronald T Egan, 75, of Aberdeen, passed away Monday June 3, 2019 at Bayshore Community Hospital of Holmdel.
He was born in Jersey City to the late Thomas Egan and Irma (Jasper) Egan.
Ronald is predeceased by his wife Joanne (Levito) Egan and a sister Alma DeFlippo of Lindhurst.
He is survived by a son Sean Egan and his wife Zabrina of Aberdeen; a brother Jerod Egan and his wife Doris of North Arlington, and two grandchildren Zenia and Sean Jr.
After obtaining his GED, Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. during the Vietnam War, being honorably discharged at the end of his service.
Ronald worked as an Aircraft Mechanic, most recently working for Airborne Express in Newark for fifteen years, retiring in 2011.
He was a longtime parishioner of St. Joseph's Church of Keyport, and taught his son how to care for his own family and his children.
Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation for Ronald on Wednesday June 5, 2019 from 4-8PM at Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735 and on Thursday June 6, 2019 9:15AM at the funeral home for a 10AM Mass of Christian burial at St. Joseph's Church of Keyport.
Entombment will follow at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery of Marlboro, NJ.
