Roger E. Dean

Roger E. Dean, 63, of Jackson, passed away, February 8, 2017, at JFK Medical Center, Edison. Roger loved to travel, take pictures and race his Corvette.  After 37 years, he retired from AT&T as a senior systems engineer. In his spare time, he became an avid bird watcher and loved taking pictures of the many birds he found. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Roger is survived by his wife,  Debra; his daughter, Michelle and her husband John; his cherished grandchildren, Brooke, John and Leah; his mother, Edith; his sisters, Roxanne and Sherrie; his brother, Gary; a niece, Rachael; two nephews, Kyle and Corey. He was preceded in death by his son Brent; his father, Donald and a nephew, Christopher.  He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

Roger was privately cremated and a family memorial service will take place. His cremains will be scattered in Florida at a later date.  Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735, was entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
