Rita Seline Sydor

Rita Seline Sydor, 68 of Jersey City, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the Jersey Shore Medical Center of Neptune. 
She was born in Jersey City, New Jersey where she lived her whole life. 
For twenty years, Rita was a bartender in Jersey City.  She had a big heart and always knew how to brighten peoples and was good-natured.
Rita was predeceased by her parents Peter Sydor and Dorothy (Free) Sydor.
She is survived by her loving sister Cynthia Jernstedt and her husband Lawrence of Keyport; Virginia Martin and her husband Richard of Pompano Beach, Florida; nieces and nephews David and Lori Martin and Leonard and Jessica Jernstedt, Christine Jernstedt and Dominic Cafro, as well as several great nieces and nephews.
She also leave behind her beloved parrot Luigi.
At the request of her family, Rita was privately cremated.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Day Funeral Home of Keyport was entrusted with the arrangements.
