Rita Marinaccio Obituary

Rita M. Marinaccio, of Matawan, peacefully passed away surrounded by her children on Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Atrium in Matawan. Rita was born in Bronx, New York before moving to Matawan. She worked at Smurf and Company Matawan for fifteen years before retiring in 1993. Rita was a member of Most Holy Redeemer R.C. Church in Old Bridge. 

She is predeceased by husband Patrick Marinaccio in 1995; her parents Ralph and Carrie (Mastropietro) Dapolito, her stepmother Mary Dapolito and her sister Louise Dragone. She is survived by her five children, Patricia McTague, Angela Hicks, Maureen Gallo, Robert Marinaccio, and Michael Marinaccio; and her twelve cherished grandchildren, and seventeen precious great-grandchildren and two loving great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday April 23, 2018 from 4-8pm at Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735. Funeral services will be Tuesday 9am at the Funeral Home followed by a 10am Mass at Most Holy Redeemer RC Church in Old Bridge. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport.
