Raymond J Walsh

Raymond J. Walsh, 79, a resident of Keyport, NJ for 60 years died Friday, October 18, 2019 at Willow Springs Healthcare Center, Brick, NJ after a long illness. He was born in South Amboy, NJ and was a Keyport High School graduate. Raymond worked in various area food stores for over 40 years.
Raymond was a parishioner of St. Joseph RC Church in Keyport and he served in the US Army for two years. Ray loved animals, crossword puzzles, and working on his cars.
He was predeceased by his mother Alice (Keays) Walsh and he is survived by his brothers Charles and wife Isabelle of Brick and Michael of Keyport; nephews David & Jeffrey Walsh and nieces Laurie Altamura and Lisa Wycoff; many G & GG nieces and nephews and his dear friends Bob & Mary Walsh of Hazlet.
A visitation will be held for Raymond on Wednesday October 23, 2019 from 4-8 PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735, and Thursday October 24, 2019  9:15 AM at the funeral home for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph RC Church, Keyport, NJ.
Burial will follow at Shoreland Memorial Gardens of Hazlet, NJ.
