Pearl Stephens 89 of Cliffwood, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, January 3, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch.
Pearl was born in , South Carolina on December 3, 1930 to Lawton and Jennie Dupont. During her life she was a Laundry Attendant for Central Laundry in Jersey City.
Pearl was predeceased by her husband Sander Stephens, brothers Lawton Jr., Johnny, Sam, and Lerome Dupont, her sister Margie Frazier, and her parents Lawton and Jennie Dupont.
Pearl leaves behind her children James Stephens and his wife Deborah of Cliffwood, and Angie Stephens of Orangeburg, SC.; grandghindren Aisha Atis (David)of Plantation, FL, Marcus Boyd of Red Bank, NC, Damien Boyd of Irvington; great-grandchildren Xavier Atis, Trinity Boyd, Destiny Boyd, Serenity Boyd and Latavia Boyd; Seven brothers, William (Jackie) Dupont, Henry (Mary) Dupont, Louis (Barbara) Dupont, Shelly (Mary) Dupont, Earl (Keitha) Dupont, Robert ”Rooster” (Kathy) Wright all of Ridgeland, SC and Joe Louis Dupont of Beaufort, SC; Three sisters, Victoria Simmons and Betty (James) Hugue of Ridgeland, SC, and Shirley Pearson of Myrtle Beach, SC; Two sisters-in-law, Mary Louise and Gwyn of Ridgeland SC; Two brother-in-laws, Leon Simmons, Sr. of Ridgeland, SC and Dennis Frazier of Savannah, GA and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Friday, January 10, 2020 from 2-5 PM. A service will be held during the visitation. Cremation will be private
