Paul F. Blinn, age 65, of Matawan, peacefully passed away surround by his loving family on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at home. Paul was born on June 4, 1953 to Patricia (Broderick) and Frederick Blinn in Natick, Massachusetts, and grew up in Medfield, MA, Chicago, Il, and Maple Glen, PA. He received a BA from La Salle University where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity. He was a tax accountant, and he worked for Prudential in Newark, NJ for 37 years.
Paul loved to sing and perform in various community musical theater productions and choruses. He was a member of the Monmouth Civic Chorus for 35 years and served on the Board for 10 of those years. Paul also served in the music ministries of St. Joseph's Church, Keyport, and St. Mary's Church, Colts Neck as a cantor and choir member.
Paul was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen (Introcaso) Blinn of Matawan, NJ; his three adoring children: Kevin Blinn and his wife Katherine of Franklin Park, NJ; Maureen Blinn of San Diego, CA; and Andrew Blinn of Matawan, NJ; his two siblings: Fredrick Blinn of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and Christine Henderson of Virginia Beach, VA; and his cherished grandson, Oliver. Paul will be dearly missed, and always in our hearts.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ; 07735. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 10am at St. Joseph’s RC Church in Keyport, NJ. Interment will follow mass at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Keyport, NJ.
