Michael Savitsky Jr., age 67, of Keansburg, New Jersey, peacefully passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Michael was born in Red Bank, New Jersey on February 18, 1952 to Norma and Michael Savitsky. Michael married his devoted wife, Arlene, and the two raised four wonderful children together. He was an Army Veteran who served our country from Germany at the time of the Vietnam War. Michael was a truck driver for many years and worked very hard to support his family. He was known to have a kind heart; he was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved to ride his motorcycle, and watch the Yankees and Giants games. He was a loving father, husband, and granpop.
Michael was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Judy Lylo. He is survived by his beloved wife Arlene Savitsky of Keansburg, NJ; his four loving children: Jennifer Willis of Pasadena, CA, Michael Savitsky and his wife Krissy of Boca Raton, FL; Frank Savitsky and his girlfriend Caryn French of Keansburg, NJ; and Daniel Savitsky and his girlfriend, Shakera Francis of Keansburg, NJ; his sisters Victoria Peterson, Edith Ulmer; his brothers, Stanley, Joseph, and Douglas; his five cherished grandchildren: Mason, Padraic, Maya, Matthew, and Christopher; and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Michael will be dearly missed, and always in our hearts.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, July 5, 2019 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, New Jersey, 07735. A service will be held at the funeral home at 8:00 PM. Day Funeral Home of Keyport, New Jersey was entrusted with the arrangements.
