Michael P. Gentile

MICHAEL P GENTILE, 76, of MONROE entered into his eternal rest on Monday Sept. 11, peacefully at his home. A dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather, he was born in Jersey City, moving to Aberdeen 45 years ago. He worked for 50 years in the office product industry both in sales and management, including with Dresher Brothers, New Jersey Office Supply, Corporate Express and most recently Staples. He owned and operated Carr’s Card and Gift Shop, Belmar, for 15 years. He attended St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport.

He was predeceased by his wife Patricia; mother and father Lucy and Michael; and granddaughter Gianna. Surviving are sons Michael, Robert and Paul; sister Linda; brothers James and Thomas; and grandsons Joseph and Christopher. 

 Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday September 15, 2017 at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735 and on Saturday 9:15AM at the funeral home for a 10:00 a.m. funeral mass at St. Joseph’s Church, Keyport. Cremation will be in private.
