Marie J. (Neglia) Pawling

Marie J. Pawling, 87 of Hazlet passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 at Arnold Walter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was an avid bowler, a member of the Hazlet Twp. First Aid Ladies Auxiliary, and was a waitress, then a manager, at Red Oak Diner in Hazlet.
Marie is pre deceased by her husband Paul Pawling, parents  Frank and Elizabeth Neglia.  She is survived by her loving children; Jason Pawling and his wife Peggylee of Middletown, Ernest Pawling and his wife Deborah of Union Beach, Paula Imbro of Keyport, Susan Crane and her husband Richard of Hazlet, Peggyann Martin and her husband Christopher of Hazlet, Elizabeth Cadigan and her husband Daniel of Parlin, 14 cherished grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 7 siblings. Marie will be dearly missed, and always in our hearts. 
Relatives and friends are invited, Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and Friday, December 21, 2018 at 8:45 am at Day Funeral Home for a Mass of Christian Burial 9:45 am at St. Benedict's RC Church.  Burial will follow at Shoreland Memorial Gardens, Hazlet.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org.
