Lee J. (Campo) Augello

Lee J. Augello (Campo), 97, of Toms River, passed away Thursday August 15 2019 at Holiday Care Center of Toms River.
She was born in Sciacca, Sicily and would come to settle in the United States.
Lee was predeceased by her parents Vito Campo and Mary Campo; her husband Joseph M. Augello and a dear sister Josephine Bono.
She is survived by her two sons: Cosmo Augello and his wife, Joanne of Hazlet. NJ; Vito Augello of Toms River, NJ; her two cherished grandchildren: Lauren Goldberg and her husband, Zack; Michael Augello and his wife, Amanda; and three precious great-grandchildren: Sophie Grace, Mia Grace, and Mackenzie Jo.  Lee will be dearly missed, and always in our hearts.
Lee was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, cook and baker.
She enjoyed playing Majan, a card game, with her friends, gardening, as well as crafts and pottery. 
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, August 19, 2019 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, New Jersey, 07735 and on Tuesday August 20, 2019, 10am at the funeral home followed by a 11am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's Church of Keyport.
