Kathleen (Field) Phillips

Kathleen Jane (Field) Phillips, of Mulberry, FL, passed away, Monday, June 12, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Jersey City, she married Bob in 1963 and resided in Cliffwood Beach, NJ, to raise her family. She later moved to Bunnell and Hudson, FL; before settling in Mulberry. Florida. She worked for many years as an Activities Director in various long-term care facilities in Florida. She will be truly missed and remembered for her great sense of humor and her love and care for her family and her cats, Fat Guys and Shawnee who kept her company in her later years.

Kathleen was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert T. Phillips, Sr. in 2004.  She is survived by her three loving children, Robert and his wife Nancy of Oceanport, NJ; Deborah and her husband Tom of Middletown, NJ; and Cindy and her husband Jeffrey of Eastampton, NJ; nine cherished grandchildren, Daniel (wife Susan), Russell, Bradley, Laura, Maddie, Jessica (husband Joseph), Thomas, Richard, Bryan; five precious great grandchildren; three siblings, William Field and his wife Elizabeth of Mulberry, FL, Maureen Borelli of Whiting, NJ and Trudy Puglisi of Matawan, NJ; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday June 20, 2017 from 4-8pm at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735; and a funeral service will be held Wednesday 11am at Day Funeral Home.   Interment will follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Kathleen's memory to the Kortney Rose Foundation  www.thekortneyrosefoundation.org; which supports pediatric brain tumor research.
