Kathleen Cecile (Fallon) Milner

Kathleen Cecile (Fallon) Milner 80, of Hazlet, passed away on Sunday July 2, 2017 surrounded by her family.  She was born and grew up in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn where she also married and started her family.  She moved to Hazlet in the 1960’s.

Kathleen was a homemaker and a parishioner of St Benedict Roman Catholic Church of Holmdel.  She was an avid Brooklyn Dodgers and NY Mets fan.  She was the kind of mom who always sacrificed everything for her children, and was the sweetest, kindest, loving person you could meet. She loved children and dogs and cherished the years she spent working as a day care provider, especially with infants.  

She was predeceased by her husband Robert J. Milner in 2000; her parents, Walter and Alice (Quirk) Fallon; and a sister, Joan Fallon.  She is survived by her daughters Eileen Milner of Hazlet; Mary Jean Milner and her husband Jorge Rosado of Aberdeen; Nancy Badgley and her husband George of Manalapan; Peggy Milner also of Manalapan, and a son Daniel Milner and his wife Melissa Carey of Glendale, California; a sister, Patricia Baxley of E. Northport, NY; and three cherished grandchildren, Grace, Lorelai and Lily.  She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735; and Thursday, 10:30AM at the funeral home, with an 11:30AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, New Jersey, 07733.  Interment will follow at St Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport.  You may post a condolence to the family or obtain directions to the funeral home through the website  www.dayfuneralhome.com.
