Katherine O. (August) Quilban

Katherine O. (August) Quilban, 77, of Cliffwood Beach, passed away Wednesday October 3, 2018 at Bayshore Community Hospital of Holmdel. She was born in Newark, New Jersey and has resided in Cliffwood Beach for the past 51 years, and was a homemaker. She was known to be a very generous, giving, and selfless person and loved her grandchildren dearly, overcame many hardships in her life and never wanted for material things throughout her life.

Katherine was predeceased by her parents Manuel August and Mildred (Lacey) August; her loving husband Vincent Quilban; and siblings William August, Manny August, and Phyllis Smith. She leaves behind a step-daughter Robin Dustman of Mico, Florida; Sons Brian Quilban and his wife Staci of Laurence Harbor, Vincent Quilban and his wife Joanne of Cliffwood Beach, Christopher Quilban and his wife Stacey of South Abington Township, Pennsylvania and Nicholas Quilban of Adenton, Maryland. Katherine also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Tyler, Kaylee, Ryan and Tanner; and a sister Virginia Good who called her "my Benny" and loves her very much.
