Josephine McDonald, 86, of Toms River, passed away, Monday, October 16, 2017, at Bey Lea Village Nursing and Rehabilitation, Toms River. She was born in Greenpoint Brooklyn, NY; and resided in South Amboy and Linden before settling in Toms River. She worked as an Optician for 30 years, retiring in 1992, with Dr. Preger’s office, Keyport.
Josephine was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Helen (Kelly) McDonald; and her siblings, Dan McDonald, Margaret DiPoalo and Elizabeth Roberts. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family.
A graveside service with burial will take place on Tuesday, October 16, 2017, 11:30AM at St. Joseph Cemetery, 360 Broadway, Keyport, NJ 07735.
