Joseph Petti, Jr. Obituary

Joseph M. Petti, Jr., 52, of Morganville, passed away, Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Belleville, he resided in Edison before settling in Morganville.  He worked as a laborer with Union Local #77.  He was a Dallas Cowboys fan; enjoyed wrestling and the race track.  He loved dogs and music and would do anything for anyone.

 

Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Joseph M. Petti, Sr. and Delores M. (Ward).  He is survived by his two dear sisters, Sharon Newell and her husband Jesse and Carol Petti; a cherished nephew, Christopher Newell and his wife Martina; and three adored great nephews, Ruben, Christopher Joseph Jr. and Joshua.  He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

 

At the direction of family, Joseph will be privately cremated.  A Memorial Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 18, 2018, from 2-4PM, with a 2:30PM Memorial Service, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Joe to the American Cancer Society or the ASPCA.  You may post a condolence to the family through the website www.dayfuneralhome.com.
