Joseph R. Martin, age 60, of Hazlet, New Jersey, peacefully passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Joseph was born January 31, 1959 in Newark, New Jersey to Mary and Raymond Martin. He was a dispatcher for N.J. MVC in Freehold, New Jersey. Joseph was a beloved son and friend.

He is survived by his loving mother, Mary (nee Galletta) Martin of Hazlet, NJ; and his cousin, Anthony Galletta. Joseph will be dearly missed, and always in our hearts.

In respect of Joseph's wishes, he will be privately cremated. No services are to be held. Day Funeral Home of Keyport was entrusted with the arrangements.
