John W. Barrett

   John W. Barrett, who resided in Manahawkin for the last 30 years, recently in Keyport, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the age of 83 while rehabilitating at (Anchor Care and Rehabilitation Center of Hazlet).
   He was born in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late John Barrett and Julia (Camlet) Barrett, and he was a graduate of Dickinson High School.
  John worked as a Machinist for Continental Can Company for many years but retired from Lenox China of Pomona, New Jersey.
  His favorite past times were playing cards and bowling.
  He is predeceased by his sisters Joan Fischer and Julia Narkoff.
  He is survived by his daughter, Susan Anzano and her husband Albert of Keyport and his son, Stephen Barrett of Brodheadsville, Pennsylvania, and a brother Michael Barrett of Manahawkin.
   John also leaves behind cherished grandchildren Stephanie Mennella, Dina Pelligrino and Angela Magtalas.
   Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation for John on Tuesday October 29, 2019 from 4PM to 8PM at Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey, 07735.
At that time a Funeral Service will be offered for John at approximately 7PM.
   At the request of the family, John will be cremated privately following services.
