Joan Kolodziej

Joan Kolodziej (Elliott) passed away peacefully at home on September 21, 2019. She was 76.
Joan was born in Brooklyn, NY to adoring parents Minnie and George Elliott. She will be remembered for her extreme love of QVC of which she was a loyal shopper. Joan also had a passion for the WWE. What friends and family will remember the most though is her feisty personality.
She had the immense ability to love those that came into her life as if they were family. She left an impact on everyone she came to know and will be dearly missed.
Joan leaves behind her son William R. Jr., his wife Sandy and their two sons Whelen, and Brayden; her grandchildren Wayne Jr. and his wife Stephanie, Joshua, and Lee Russell; her great-grandchildren Kayleigh and Weston; her sister Emma Albarran; and her daughter-in-law Jeannine.
She is now reunited with her husband William R.; her son Wayne R. Sr.; her sister Dolores Karpak; and her parents Minnie and George Elliott in eternal rest. 
Services for Joan will take place on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 2-4PM and again at 7-9PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place in Keyport, NJ 07735. Friends and family are welcomed back to the funeral home the following day, Thursday September 26, 2019, 9:30AM for a service in memory of Joan at 10AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
