James G. McCoy

 James G. McCoy, 94, of Holmdel, NJ passed away Wednesday, March 6th, at Bayshore Health Care Center. James was born on March 12, 1924 in Utila, Honduras to the late John and Genevieve McCoy. James joined the US Merchant Marines Coast Guard at a very young age. He served during WW II and continued his life aboard ships. He traveled the world many times as a First Class Steward.

James is survived by his devoted children James  Jr., Rosanna , Maria  and Sarah. Also surviving is his cherished brother George  and 8 loving grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. James will be dearly missed, and always in our hearts.

 A Memorial Gathering for James will be held at the funeral home on Saturday March 23, 2019 from 12PM-3PM, with a Funeral Service at approximately 2:30PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735.
