Helen M. (Britanak) Filardo

Helen M. (Britanak) Filardo, 93, of Bel Air, MD, formerly of Keyport, passed away, Wednesday, March 14, 2018.  She was born in Keyport to the late Paul and Anna (Lisky) Britanak and was a lifelong resident prior to settling in Maryland with her daughter, Linda.  She was one of nine children, four brothers and five sisters.  She worked for Komars, Keansburg, as a sewing operator for 34 years and then as a mail operator with AT&T, Lincroft, as a mail operator.  She was a communicant of St. Joseph RC Church, Keyport; and a member of the VFW #4303, Keansburg.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Linda Baccaro; four cherished grandchildren; and two precious great grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.
