Gregory Ralph Wallace, 64, of Belmar, passed away, Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at home. He was born in Red Bank; grew up in Aberdeen and lived in Arizona, New Mexico and California before returning to New Jersey. He resided in Belmar for the past 4 years. He was employed at Fort Monmouth in the Logistics Department before becoming a self-employed contractor.
Gregory was predeceased by his parents, Ralph Emmett Wallace and Elizabeth (Senise) Wallace; his stepmother, Marylou (Madreperl) Wallace; and a brother, Eric Wallace. He is survived by his siblings, Sharon Stark and husband Harry of Matawan; Wayne Wallace and wife Maureen of Union Beach; and Tammy Trotter and husband John of Southampton; nieces and nephews, Raellen Wallace , Christopher Stark, Brian Wallace, Douglas Stark, Kellianne (Stark) D'Angelo and her husband Pete and his great nephew, Jonathan. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
At the direction of the family, cremation was private. A memorial gathering will take place on Thursday, February 7, 2013, from 3-7PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735, with a 5PM prayer service at the funeral home.
