Georgette Nelson Obituary

Georgette P. Nelson, 93, of Matawan passed peacefully on July 30. Georgette was born on September 21, 1925 to Rose (nee Sackman) and Robert Williams. She worked as a crossing guard in Union City. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. She will be dearly missed.

Georgette was known for her feisty personality and deep love and appreciation for family and friends. Now she joins those who passed before her in eternal rest.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 9-11AM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Ave, Keyport, New Jersey 07735. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Middletown, NJ.
