Frank L. Raineri

Frank L. Raineri, 84, of Hazlet, passed away, Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.  He was born in New York, NY.  He worked as a diesel mechanic with the New York Shipping Association, Elizabeth, NJ.  He was a hard worker, a devoted husband and father; a caring and giving man; and put everyone’s needs above his own.  He was a car buff; and enjoyed flying remote control airplanes.  He also was a Yorkie enthusiast and his dog named “Chewy.”

Frank was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary Raineri, in 2017; his parents, Carlo and Josephine (Balsamo) Raineri; and his sister-in-law, Theresa Pyburn.  He is survived by his loving children, Anthony Raineri of TX; Lisa Raineri of Hazlet and Francis Raineri of Union Beach; his brother, Sal Raineri of Long Island; and three cherished grandchildren, Gina Marie, Cassandra and Jessica Lisk.  He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Monday, January 8, 2018, from 10AM-1PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735, with a 12:45PM, prayer at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Forest Green Memorial Park, Morganville.  You may post a condolence to the family or obtain directions to the funeral home through the website www.dayfuneralhome.com.
