It is with great sadness that we celebrate the life of Frank DePrisco who died peacefully in his sleep on December 31, 2018 at 77 years old. Frank was many things to many people. He was a dedicated volunteer at Bayshore Hospital, a veteran and long-time member of the American Legion, the guy who brightened the day for many co-workers by giving them candy, someone who dressed as Donald Duck to cheer up sick kids in the hospital or who fought to help young people steer clear of drugs.
Frank was a dedicated son to his Mother, Angelina, and Father, Ralph, who he adored. Frank was the brother who would always help you out when in need to his two younger brothers, Patrick and Anthony, older sister, Millie and to his cousins, who were more like siblings, Julia and Louie. Frank was a devoted husband to his wife, Beverly, for 52 years, a loving Father, to his children and their spouses, Elizabeth, Bill, Michael, Danielle, Joseph, Christopher, Toni, Jonathan, Max and Steve, Grandfather to Jenna, Matthew, Buddy, Pam, Michael, Angelina, Christopher, Nicholas, Reggie, Jake and Danny and Great-Grandfather to Lawrence and Penelope.
He loved the movies, especially anything with John Wayne, karate, war, superheroes and, more recently, the Hallmark Christmas movies with happy endings. He loved a great cheeseburger, a slice of Sicilian pizza, peanut M&Ms and lasagna. He had the best laugh – one you could hear from another room that would make you laugh even though you had no idea what was so funny. Most of all, he loved his family who he would proudly brag about to anyone that would listen. He was a kind, thoughtful, hard-working, selfless man who will be truly missed by anyone that knew him.
