Foster Carl Lassen

Foster C. Lassen, age 93, of Matawan, NJ, peacefully passed away on December 30, 2018, four days before of his 94th birthday. He was born in Bloomfield, NJ to Hazel (French) and John Lassen, on January 3, 1925. Foster married the love of his life, Edna, on May 17, 1947 in Union Beach, NJ. He proudly served in the Navy, on PT Boats during WWII. He attended Trade School to become an Auto Mechanic, and he worked for I.F.F. as an Instrument Specialist. Foster also was the Co-Owner of B&L Services until his retirement.
Foster was predeceased by his parents, his two sons, Craig J. and Brent W. Lassen, and his sister, Jane Bender. He is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Edna (Little) Lassen, of Matawan, NJ; his five loving children and their spouses; Jeanette and Gary Sideman of Great Bend, KS; Foster J. Lassen and his wife Phyllis of Matawan, NJ; Mark A. Lassen and his wife Michele of Cliffwood, NJ; Wayne H. Lassen and his wife Linda of MD; Eric R. Lassen of NJ; his nine cherished grandchildren; and his seven precious great-grandchildren. Foster will be fondly remembered, and always in our hearts.
