Evelyn Gail (Bowman) Dimsey

Evelyn Gail Dimsey, 78, of Laurence Harbor, passed away Thursday April 4, 2019 at JFK Medical Center of Edison, surrounded by her loving family. 
She was most commonly known by Gail. Born in South Amboy to the late Chester Bowman and Charlotte (House) Bowman, she was a high school graduate and worked as a School Bus Driver for the Milu Bus Company of Matawan for many years.
She is survived by her loving husband William "Bill" Dimsey; daughters Donna Gugliemo and her husband William of Manahawkin, Susan Funk and her husband Peter of Forked River; a son Jeffrey Dimsey and his wife Michele of Sayerville; grandchildren Dominic DiPoalo and his wife Dorothy, Joseph and Macy Gugliemo, Joseph and Kristina Verdesco, Mathew and Samantha Dimsey; and great grandchildren Mary, Emily and Sarah DiPoalo; and brother Irvin Bowman and his wife Donna of Manchester. Gail was always very caring, would do anything for you and loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation for Gail on Monday April 8, 2019 at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735 from 9AM to 11AM with a Funeral Service at the funeral home at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Cloverleaf Memorial Park Cemetery of Woodbridge.
