Elizabeth T. Ryder, 66, of Old Bridge, New Jersey passed away, Tuesday January 15, 2019 at Bayshore Community Hospital of Holmdel.
Elizabeth was born in South Amboy and grew up in Cliffwood Beach. “Beth” as her family and friends fondly referred to her had a love for Barbara Streisand, Josh Groban, the Hallmark channel and anything she could clog up the DVR with. Beth graduated Matawan High School in 1970, and worked as a legal secretary for more than 30 years thereafter. Beth loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents Joseph Lovero and Ethel (Punko) Lovero and a brother William Lovero. She is also predeceased by her first husband, Daniel Natarcola.
Elizabeth is survived by her beloved husband William Ryder; children Lisa Ryder of Woodbridge, Daniel Ryder (son of Daniel Natarcola) and his wife Angela of Hazlet, along with her grandchildren Kayla, Louie, Daniel Jr., Gabriella and Jimmy. She also leaves behind a brother Joseph Lovero and his wife Susan of Arizona; sisters-in-law Ann Scheller, Janie Ryder, Lisa Ryder, Maureen McGuire and brothers-in-law Barry Wiggins, Robert Scheller, John McGuire and William Boyle as well as many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth will be dearly missed, and always in our hearts.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation for Elizabeth on Monday January 21, 2019 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735 and on Tuesday January 22, 2019 9AM at the funeral home for a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Clement's Church of Matawan. Burial will follow in Forest Green Memorial Park Cemetery of Morganville.
