Eleanor J. (Kierstead) Petite

Eleanor J. (Kierstead) Petite, 78, of Keyport, passed away, Friday, April 14, 2017, at home.  Born in Newark, NJ she resided in Bloomfield, before settling in Keyport.  She was the owner/operator of the Polished Woman, Holmdel, NJ where she was a beautician and nail technician.  Eleanor loved being with her family, especially, her grandchildren.

Eleanor was predeceased by her parents, George and Vera (Bonderson) Kierstead; three siblings; and her former husband, Robert Petite.  She is survived by her loving children, her son, Steve Petite and his wife Sonia and her daughter, Lisa Petite; a dear sister, Edith Chill and her husband Richard; and nine cherished grandchildren, Corey, Alex, Amanda R., Victoria, Vanessa, Amanda S., Richie, Michael, and Marcus.  She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, from 3-7PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735, with a 5 PM service at the funeral home.  Cremation will be private.  You may post a condolence to the family or obtain directions to the funeral home through the website www.dayfuneralhome.com.
