Donald H. Sanhueza

Donald H. Sanhueza, 78, of Old Bridge Township, passed away, Thursday, October 26, 2017, at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center, New Brunswick. He was born in Perth Amboy to the late Hipolito and Irene (Gilroy) Sanhueza. He was a Merchant Seaman for Mobil Oil, retiring in 1985, and then became a superintendent with the NYC Housing Authority for 17 years, retiring in 2004. He was quick witted; and loved his family and grandchildren.
Donald was predeceased by a stepbrother, Alexander Sanhueza. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Elizabeth (Garcia) Sanhueza; his two loving children, Ann Delucia and husband Peter of Aberdeen; and Donald Sanhueza of New Lisbon; and two cherished grandchildren, Thomas and Matthew. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 29, 2017, from 4-8PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735; and Monday, October 30, 2017, 9:30AM, with a 10AM service at the funeral home.
