Constance E. (Giaccio) Petrillo

Constance E. Petrillo, (nee Giaccio), 95, of Collingswood, NJ, formerly of Aberdeen, NJ, passed away at her Collingswood Manor nursing home, on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. Connie was born on April 3, 1923 in Jersey City, NJ.  She moved to Aberdeen with her husband, Lewis, and son, Robert, in 1962 before moving to Collingswood in 2012. Connie worked as a medical records librarian at the Jersey City Medical Center and later as the Township Clerk of Aberdeen Township. She was a founding member of the Dante Alighieri Society of Central New Jersey. 

Constance was predeceased by husband, Lewis, her parents, Angela (Paris) and Peter Giaccio, and her siblings, Joan Festa and Jimmy Giaccio. She is survived by her loving son Robert and his wife Peggy of Haddon Heights, NJ; her cherished grandchildren, Stephanie Blind and her husband Patrick of Millersville, MD and Ryan Petrillo of Barcelona, Spain; and her two beloved great grandchildren, Samantha and Connor Blind. 

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday morning, September 22, 2018, from 9:00AM to 10:30AM at the Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Clement’s RC Church, Matawan at 11AM.
